After being found near a spot where there was a gunfight, he was arrested a third time and spent more than one month in prison because his father had no interest in bailing him out. When he was finally released, he had a decision to make, it was either he would go on being a thug or finally change his path. Choosing to pick himself up and change his old way of life probably saved him.
